A Message from Jackie Lundy, a CTC Parent
As Mother’s Day approaches, I stop to think of my role as a mother of a little girl with special needs.
Sydney is a delight to us every day, but being her mother is not without challenges. Families with children with special needs have higher than normal care expenses for their little ones. And during this time when parents are being laid off and facing financial uncertainty, finding ways to continue to care for our special children can seem impossible.
But you can help.
You can make a donation today in honour of your special mother this Mother’s Day.
The Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent has created a very special Mother’s Day “Support CTC Families in Need” campaign.

One generous donor has offered to match donations up to $15,000.
So, for every dollar you donate, it will be doubled. All donations will go directly to supporting local families of CTC children. The CTC Foundation has set up a web page that our CTC families can go to and apply for help. With your support, we can give local families a little more stability during an uncertain time.
Please help the Children’s Treatment Centre families if you can.
As a mom, I can’t think of a better way to get through this crisis than to help others in dire need. I wish all mothers a very happy Mother’s Day. Let’s hold our children close and be grateful for our blessings.

A Message from the CTC Foundation
At this time of great worry and uncertainty for us all, we sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are in good health.
Through this appeal, we want to reach out to people in our community and do all we can to help mitigate the impact the coronavirus pandemic has on the health and well-being of the children and families that we serve. The COVID-19 pandemic has made an impact on our fundraising projects. We continue to work as a team to come up with different ways of meeting our fundraising goals.
At the CTC Foundation we are very lucky to work with a group of people that love giving every day. They give with smiles, gentle words of encouragement, valuable skill and, most importantly, with love.
With your help, our CTC Families who are in need, will be supported during this unprecedented time. A family with a special needs child more than ever needs our support. For every dollar you donate it will be doubled by our generous donor.
